Sharon Credit Union is pleased to announce that William (Bill) Beitler has joined their team as the Chief Operations Officer. “Bill has an extensive track record leading financial institutions and has the operational depth of experience we are looking for in our next executive. We are excited to see what the future holds for Sharon Credit Union with Bill on our team,” said President/CEO James Carlson. Beitler has over 25 years of experience in the financial service industry, most recently in the role of Market President for the greater Cincinnati market with Commonwealth Bank & Trust. Previously, Beitler served as the CEO of First Security Trust Bank, and CEO and Director of First Bank of Northern Kentucky. Beitler’s experience spans the areas of retail sales and operations, marketing, strategic management, lending, risk mitigation and compliance. Beitler holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Cincinnati and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Xavier University. Beitler also received a Graduate Bank Management Certificate from the University of Virginia/Consumer Banker’s Association. “I’m thrilled to join Sharon Credit Union as their Chief Operations Officer.
