Understanding Business Fundamentals and Financials Workshop

SCU Credit Union and SEED Corporation, in cooperation with the U.S. Small Business Administration, Massachusetts Small Business Development Center, & SCORE will be hosting a free, virtual entrepreneurial workshop in which participants will learn the fundamentals of planning, preparing for and financing a small business.

This FREE, two-part virtual workshop will take place Tuesday, May 30th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM and Thursday, June 1st from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

Topics in the first session will include putting together a business plan, getting business financing, and marketing. In the second session, participants will learn how to read and create a balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement, and how to keep on top of their business finances.

All workshop attendees will be provided with SEED’s business plan booklet, power point presentation, and supplemental material that will be discussed during the workshop session.
